The start

As a little girl I was always doing arts and crafts in my free time. During college I stopped, as I think so many people do. When I was 32 I tried out some sewing lessons and I was sold. Over the years I expanded from sewing garments to quilting and went down the rabbit hole. I ltry to spend as much time as possible in my sewingroom.

Seamstress

In november of 2022 I started a dressmaking and pattern drafting course at Modevakschool Costa. A fashion school in the north of the Netherlands.

Right now (jan25) I’m working on the fourth part of the exam, learning new things each lesson and expanding my skills.

Quilting

I started quilting while I was living in Dubai and wanted to do more then just sewing the same basic T-shirt. I discovered quilting through social media and youtube, fell in love and tried out so many different techniques. I prefer FPP or EPP and love the more modern style. Although once in a while I love to work with more traditional fabrics.
